Williams by Bachmann / My wish list!!
July 14, 2011, 08:04:14 PM
Hey Bachman,
Here is my wish list of items I'd love to see you guys produce;

HHP-8
AEM-7

Please bring back the E-60, Metroliners, and the Superliner style cars!! I bet that if you bring back the Superliner style cars in Amtrak Phase 3 and 4 and Santa Fe, you'd sell a lot of them!! I'd buy them all !  The Santa Fe would match your FP-45 and F-3 perfectly and the Amtrak would go great with your new Genesis!! So how about it!!

Thanks!!

I too sent them an e-mail. Hopefully BB kits will stay. I like those kits because they are great and cheap. And in these times cheap is good!!

HO / SOUND FOR A HO SPECTRUM HHP-8?
October 17, 2009, 11:46:44 PM
Hey guys,
I have made progress on my HO catenary on my layout. I posted a video on YouTube. Thank you all for all of your input. Now here is another question. Can a Bachman Spectrum HO HHP-8 be equipped with a sound decoder? and if so which one? And if any of you have done this, do you have videos of it? Thanks again!!!!

P.S.
Here is the link to my video on the first catenary structure to go on my layout.

HO / Re: Athearn Blue Box...No More
October 17, 2009, 11:39:19 PM
It's sad to see the blue box kits go. Now think about this...I can make a hobby within a hobby looking for those "rare" and hard to find kits. Problem is that they will be over priced.

Hi there,
Most model trains can be fixed. What I suggest is going down to a local Hobby shop that carries trains. Most of the time they will have parts and if not they can provably get them. And as far as expanding the train layout, I'd suggest looking through layout planning books. This will give you ideas as to what other track pieces and trains to get. Hope this helps!

HO / Re: Amfleet Passenger Cars Redux
September 18, 2009, 07:10:24 PM
Hello,
I had a set of the new Amfleet cars (Bachman's silver series cars)a while back and they ran fine with no troubles. So I suggested was swapping out the trucks for the ones used on the new run of cars.  From what I can remember they are built different and operate much better. So much that I'd love to put them on my Walthers Amfleet cars! I hope this helps!

How about swapping the old trucks for the trucks that Bachman uses on their new Amfleet cars. You might be able to get them from Bachman.

HO / HO catenary?
September 17, 2009, 10:33:52 AM
Hello everyone,
I'm planning to start an Amtrak NEC layout in HO and I need help on getting a live catenary system up an running. I've yet to decide weather to go with DCC or DC. I plan to run electric locos as well as diesels. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
