Title: Rio Grande 4-8-2
Post by: Bill Miller on July 30, 2007, 07:50:06 PM
I would have thought that with the arrival of the Blackstone HOn3 K-27's that Bachmann would have released the HO USRA Heavy 4-8-2 in Rio Grande to cover the other half of that dual gauge yard. However they release an N scale version.  Are the Rio Grande 4-8-2's that different that the Bachmann model wouldn't make a good stand in model?

How about it mister Bachmann?

I'd buy one. I need D&RGW stuff...

Yes, the Bachmann 4-8-2 would make a very nice D&RGW M-67 or with a few mods, an M-75 or even an M-78. And a 2-10-2 with a modded (Modded being made electrically compatible that is!) small Vandy tender would be a nice F-81.  ;D

^Which one? They had both 4-6-6-4's and 2-8-8-2's.
