Hi there, Mike.

Do you require the rear red LED to be constantly on, or only while reversing?

If only used as a reversing lamp (extinguished when travelling forward) I would be extending the wires from the front LED and run them back to the rear LED. If you reverse the polarity from that of the front, you will have the supply for your reversing lamps.

That is what I would do with good old DC.

Maybe someone who is a little more comfortable with DCC has another idea...

Hi,
I pulled my Davenport apart and had a look, I've been thinking of adding a rear light as well, it appears there is no provision for adding the rear light on the board. the pin for the "YELLOW Wire" rear light is soldered but I cant see any circuit leading away from it.

Even though there is no place on the board there is plenty of room to splice into the BLUE + and  YELLOW-  to light up a rear light with a 680ohm or higher resistor in line.
