Title: Item #636 GP30 Diesel Santa Fe
Post by: rtiques on October 06, 2010, 10:27:37 PM
I have this engine in the box, never opened. It says Philadelphia, PA on back of box. I also have a LOCO & Caboose combo in the original box. It says American 4-4-0 Steam locomotive. Tender has Jupiter on the side and so does engine. Caboose has Central Pacific R.R. I am trying to find out what year these were made in and how much they are worth. Looks like both have never been out of their boxes. Any information would be appreciated. Email me at rtiques@att.net

The GP30 and 4-4-0 with bobber caboose was likely made in the late 1990's or early 2000's, but there is no way to say for sure without any pictures. The GP30 is worth $10-$15 including shipping costs, while the 4-4-0 w/ caboose is worth about $25-$35 including shipping. They will likely need to be cleaned and re-greased (very sparingly) to get back to good running order.
