Title: Going from EZ command to the Dynamis
Post by: jdamerst on June 05, 2015, 01:56:00 AM
I am in On30 and had 4 of my 5 engines programed for the EZ Command. Then I decided to buy the Dynamis system .My new center cab ran beautifully under EZ command. When I went to program it under the Dynamis, I got sound, lights - but no movement even if the engine was in CV 3.

Can the Dynamis know what CV a locomotive was programmed in and accept it so it runs?

Is there a way to locate what  number engines are programmed in?

Cheers,

The basic dynamis system does not read CV's I would suggest doing a reset of the loco which will set it back to address #3

OK,
I will reset the locomotives so they are back to #3. But how do I do it?

Cheers,
Jeff

remove all your locos from your track place the loco you want to reset on the track select service track programing set cv8 to 8

this will do a full reset on the decoder

again only place the loco you want to reset on the track any locos on the track would be reset when using service track programming.
