YYYYYYYYeeeeeeaaaaarrrrrrsssss ago a company called Roundhouse (I think) made something called Harriman passenger cars, with the baggage, observation, etc...and they were short. I don't think the were exact models of a prototype, but they looked ok going around smaller radius curves. I am just returning to HO (if my eyes let me.....been in large scale for a long time) and wondering if there are equivalent cars still available.
Thanks for the help.
The Harrimans were 60 footers, the Overtons were 34 foot. Both were made by Roundhouse.......now part of Athearn.
Bachmann's "oldtime" series would work for you.

Mantua has some less than detailed ones also.

The Mantua cars are available for about $5-10 each while the Roundhouse cars run about $25+ each.
I have some of the Mantua cars that I got for $5 each and they are pretty good for that price point honestly.
