Title: passenger car lighting
Post by: weaselbear on August 27, 2015, 06:45:47 PM
Is there a difference between DCC and analog lighting in passenger cars?  Are the cars interchangeable
between the 2 systems.  It seems that som of my cars will not light up on the analog portion of my set up.

Mine lit up fine on analog but not for DCC
I yank the lighting for all my coaches as the RR I model never ran with lighting anyway for the most part...

When using a DCC system , the lighting is constant.
I yanked all the lightbulps out and replaced them with LED's.
Don't forget the resistor of about 680 -1000 Ohms per LED.
Otherwise you distroy the LED's.
