With Union Pacific rebuilding one of there Big Boy steam engines it is no surprise to see that there will be one if not two runs for this locomotive.

Having a working, moving, real steam engine back on the tracks will lead to lots of these locomotive selling.

The low driver versions look like the 1920's steamers and the high driver versions look like the more modern steamers that lasted to the end of steam.

I remember the terrific sale that Bachmann had on all of the tenders. I bought a bunch of the different vandy types, wish I had bought more. Still have a few of the small vandys left but none of the larger ones.

Mr. Bachmann, will there be Vandy tenders in Bachmanns HO line any time soon?

I sure am glad that when they had the big clearence sale on the Vandy tenders that I bought a bunch. I used the larger tenders first for my Canadian National 2-10-2 engines

The smaller vandy tenders with the small trucks were for a short while packaged with one of the 2-8-0 engines as well for a while. I forgot the road name, but it may have been a UP loco.  Those were great looked good behind the small steamers such as the 2-8-0 and 4-6-0 engines.  I am lucky to still have a few of these still sitting around from the sale

I agree with the request, would be nice to see these available again.  Bachmann are you listening.

Why are there no Vandy tenders in the HO section

Nice to see the newletter with the 2-8-2's. How come no Vandy tenders on any of these versions?

The CPR Selkirk 2-10-4 made its home in the Canadian Rockies, From Calgary to Banff to Field to Golden to Revelstoke. Hard to find another run as long mainly in the mountains. Before the Selkirks CPR ran their 2-10-2's.

Sure been a long time coming.

Sure do miss those 4-6-0's, new members to the local club want to buy some, good news is I have a few extra Spectrum engines, but I do not want to sell them, premium price or not. I will hold on and use when the original 4-6-0's wear out.

What era are you modeling?  Will you need to turn around any engines or rolling stock?  If so, how?

I see no wye tracks or turntables.

I tried several times to send a reply with an attached photo of an HO CPR steam cab but the Bachmann site gives me an error each time I attempt to send the photo.

I use the items made by Minatures by Erich to modify my HO steam locomotives. He carries a lot of detail parts, for both CPR and CNR, eras covered area steam to diesel.

It is your base level, or lowest level.

For any height above you simply add more foam where you need more height. For raising, or lowering, track levels to new heights the woodland scenics riser system is your best friend. Going up levels is easy, if you want to go down, then add more levels of foam.
