Thanks Steve, I've been out of the hobby awhile and I've missed a lot.
I picked up a new Shay last month and I was sure without looking it would need to go back.  I had about six of the first run and I slowly sold out.
I did find my warranty card in my truck a week after I sent the engine back.

I haven't been able to afford the new Shay yet, but I saw a friends and it's the finest looking engine I've ever seen.
I did buy a new 36 ton Shay last month and it wasn't ruuning right, I had to send it back. I just notice the warranty card is still in my sun visor of my truck....

I have one Connie and it's my favorite engine, I hope to buy many more.  It runs as good as engine that cost ten times as much.

I sent a new 36 ton Shay back yesterday for repair.  New out of the box the back axle wasn't powered.  I got it in Jan.
Will they replace the trucks with the new style??

Brass is beyond my reach.  I have a friend, I run trains with and he has a pile of it.  He has a MTH Big Boy that's really great.

Russ, I got in on the Track Sale last year and picked up 600 feet.  I thought the sale was over, but it looks like I have another month.  I may be able to pick up a few boxes this year. I need to get it running soon as I can.

A friends wife ask me how to keep rust off the track, they where having trouble keeping the trains running.  I told her the track was brass and it didn't have rust on it, well seems they had used the track with his Sam's Wholesale Set.  He changed everything to Aristo Stainless.

Does anyone know if Bachmann will ever make Brass Track?

What's planned for the next engine after the three truck Shay.

Kevin what's the EBT Mikado?

Kevin, I've been away from G Scale for a couple years. I just picked up GR and saw your article, it was good reading, I'm just sorry I missed the others.  I have a large layout covered with grass, does anyone make a car that eats grass. Soon as the weather breaks, I'll start getting it ready for serious running.
