Title: New 2-8-2 CV's
Post by: ebtnut on November 13, 2015, 10:23:46 AM
Yardmaster - I can't seem to track down the CV's for the new USRA Mike.  I don't see the loco listed on the Soundtraxx board.  I'm planning to take the loco to a friend next weej to adjust the chuff rate and change the whistle, and need to know which CV's to adjust.

I'll bet they are almost identical to the mogul.

If it's the standard Bachmann decoder, JMRI will know.  :)

Chuff rate - cv 116.  Start at 150 and go up or down until you get 4 per driver turn at a scale 10 mph.

Whistle change- cv 115.  Choose 1, 2 or 0.  0 is the factory default.

Can any one tell me the names of the three whistles in that decoder?

OK, guys, thanks for the help.  Just need to get the loco to my DCC buddy for the reset.
