Title: USRA 4-8-2 Light Mountain - DCC Ready ?

DCC ready...which digitrax card should be used and is there a description of what needs to be done with pictures to install the DCC?

Look at the diagram that came with your loco. I think there are spots on the PC board to solder the decoder wires to. I recently saw the N scale Heavy Mountain diagram and it looks similar.
I would suggest a Digitrax DZ125 which is good for Z, N and HO scale. The decoder comes with instructions.

Hi!
The wired decoder for the"old" version LM has to be connected to wires and placed in a notch of the locos body under the shell.
The new version has a DCC-ready tender which is connected to the loco by wires similar to the HM. Inside the tender are seven solder points on the pcb for the decoder wires.
It is not a big deal to decoderize both versions although the latest version is done in a few minutes.
A DZ125 is very good choice for these models.
