i also want to know about this canadian overland shell, at what point in time did bachmann make a cn northern?

because i am canadian would like to see more canadian steamers, like the u2g in mass production. usually models like that are brass and it seems like they are extremely hard to find anywhere. i went to the parts store and saw a shell for a 4-8-4 that was named 'canadian overland'. does anyone know about this model?

i guess that it would be kind of pointless for there to be a big boy, but i would like to see a hudson, specifically a cp royal hudson.

HO / do you think bachmann will ever make a big boy?

if there is a spectrum 2-8-8-4 do you think an ho scale big boy can be a possibility? even though big boys are made by other manufacturers i think a spectrum line big boy would be interesting

how much longer will the 2-8-0 be around? are there any plans to discontinue it soon? I really want it but I don't know how long it will be around.

HO / Will there be regular narrow gauge products?
March 31, 2015, 01:40:36 PM
i saw that there are now Thomas narrow gauge products listed, if there are Thomas ones that run on n scale track? will there be regular locos like forneys in ho scale also? do you think there is a chance of that happening? I haven't heard a single thing about non Thomas narrow gauge products.

HO / how detailed will the ho usra 2-8-2 be?
March 31, 2015, 01:25:16 PM
does anyone know what the 2-8-2 will be like in terms of detail? I saw the concept image and it looks good. but will the actual model be well detailed? what current model do you think it will be comparable to?

thanks. I will go with the 2-8-0, but I am tempted by engines like the spectrum em-1 and the 2-8-4. I will save bigger ones for when I have a larger layout.

i just started HO modelling last year and have 5 locomotives, a usra 0-6-0, union pacific 4-8-4 ( from the overland limited set) an f9, a spectrum 4-4-0, and an athearn sw1500. i want to start getting bigger locomotives but i can't decide on the 2-8-0 or 2-8-4. what are the pros and cons of each? does anyone have personal experience with one or the other? which is better overall?
