Post by: richG on July 19, 2008, 11:03:32 PM
Since I model circa 1900, I just finished building a boxcar to fit the era.

It was quite the challenge.

Nice job.  Where did the decals come from?

Thanks, it was quite a challenge. Needs a couple more parts that are on order.

Inquiring minds will want to know what the products are that were carried. I do not think Google will find them.

The nature of the products shipped?

Diacoustic infusoria = a lot of noise
Basic Balunium Ores = a lot of coal dust
Air-Float Abrasives = smoke and cinders
Frangible Ceramics = breakable pottery
Sand and Gravel = self explanatory

Being of Superior quality, obviously these were all shipped in crates
or barrels. Workers had to put cotton in their ears when opening a
barrel of Diacoustic Infusoria!!  ::)

The kit came from Full Circle Models. http://fullcmodels.com/products.php

The kit comes in little bags. The two boxes shown are for me to work out of.
