Hi,
     Is there a company that makes DCC switches for outside use, in large scale?  Also, what type of track is good to use outside? I am planning to start a garden railway in the spring. I want to go with a mountainous theme, so I bought a Bachmann two-truck shay. It is 36 ton Pardee & Curtin Lumber Co. No. 11, the 81196. Also I bought the lumber jack trainset for the second loop, so I need curves to suit both of these engines. I also plan on making a small grade. The tracks will only be a small oval, one inside of the other, the outer one with the grade. So if anyone reccommends a certain type of track please let me know.

Can the receiver that comes with the Dynamis system be moved around, or does it have to stay with the base? Also, can additional receivers be used without the pro-box?

Is the 81196 2-truck shay DCC-ready? If not, does it require any major effort to convert it to DCC?

Is the Polar Express train set (found in the 2001 Bachmann catalog) worth any real value?

My 2-8-0 engines DCC 4 wire power plug to headlight and motor has a wire pulled out of it . how can I get it fixed.

I am wondering, I have a dcc engine with a circuit board and a decoder but to convert an engine you only need a decoder ?  Also how many wires come out of the decoder ?

Are the passenger  cars lit on the royal gorge train set and can the engines be converted to DCC ?

Is it possible to upgrade the overland limited engine to dcc? If so do I only need to buy the decoder and do I need the one with the plug or the wire harness?
