Thomas & Friends / European style of ez track?
January 27, 2024, 06:34:06 PM
So while looking online for different brands of track to get for when I start my layout and knowing that it had to be U.k. like cuz that what Thomas is based off of, I was wondering why Bachmann doesn't try to make some of these types of turnouts like double slips and 3 way turnouts and etc in ez track form? It would even be nice to see an ez track form of flex track. Because of this lack of possibilities in track, I feel that I'm gonna need to go with track from PECO. Does anyone else feel the same way?

I'm very anxious to see what is announced next month. There are a ton of things I hope to see announced, but I know it won't all come at once. So here's my wishlist for this year

Troublesome truck #7 (slate truck)
Bradford the brake van
Kipper vans
Topham circus open wagon
Tar wagon (reintroduced)
Ice cream van (reintroduced)
Flying Scotsman water tender (if they sold this separately, it would help not make the flying Scotsman so expensive like it would be if it was sold all together)
Circus flatbed
Rocky
Flatbed elephant wagon

Ho sets:
Breakdown train
Circus train set
Express set

Narrow gauge:
Duke
Smudger
Freddie
Mighty Mac

Does Bachmann make a regular version of flying Scotsman and if so is the chassis exactly the same as the Bachmann Gordon model?

I agree. I like all the narrow gauge engines better in the model series

Thomas & Friends / Re: BoCo or Diesel 10

Definitely boco over diesel 10. Diesel 10 is my least favorite out of all the diesels. But I worming seeing Derek and class 40 as well. Bachmann will never make diesel 10 anyways because of his claw

Still think they should've just made Duncan and smudger instead of a yellow rheneas. And duke is definitely a legend in the narrow gauge

I think it would be really cool to see the red gondola like freight cars from the episode entitled Henry's forest. It would also be cool to see heavy hector. And to also see the well wagon brought back would be nice too
