HO / Re: SD70ace New Road names?Questions for the Bachmann
September 15, 2018, 12:33:33 PM
I asked about the SD70ACE and ES44AC without sound and got the same answer last year, almost every other locomotive that Bachmann produces have both sound and non sound versions, if Bachmann did produce a non sound I would buy them.

HO / GP38-2

I recently picked a couple of Bachmann GP38-2s and they are very nice locomotives, too bad the Bachmann GP40 and GP50 are not up to the same standard.

I have the E33 in my collection. The E33 is a nicely detailed locomotive.

HO / Conrail GP30. GP38-2, and GG-1
June 25, 2018, 11:46:23 AM
How about releasing the GP30, GP38-2, and GG-1 in Conrail colors? If Bachmann does decide to do the GG-1 for Conrail I would like to see the bicentennial version.

HO / Re: Bachmann ho dcc 4-8-4 and 2-10-4

They could have placed the plugs in a different place, I'm sure that others who have these locomotives think the same thing. I don't mind the dcc but the wires are a p.i.t.a. to plug in and unplug when I am done running them. Who ever designed the way the wires plug in must thought it was funny to do them that way.   ;D

HO / Bachmann ho dcc 4-8-4 and 2-10-4
July 18, 2017, 01:29:35 PM
I just bought a dcc equipped ho scale 4-8-4 and 2-10-4 and how the wires from the tender attach to the locomotive are a pain to connect and on the tender the wires cause the front truck of the tender to come off the track, I liked the 4-8-4's before Bachmann added dcc to the locos that came in the blue and white box that did not have the wires. Bachmann should have made the plug like Athearn did on their steam locomotives that plug in to the tender without having to turn the loco upside down. That way is much easier and I do not have to worry about breaking off the little detail parts on the locomotive.

Locomotives in the plus series are the 4-8-4 Niagara, GS-4, Class J, Northern, SD45, B23-7, GP35, F7A/B, and the 2-8-0. They came in a gray box and had upgraded motors. Other than the 2-8-0, all the other locomotives listed have been re-released in recent years.

HO / Bachmann HO scale train set
June 11, 2017, 11:35:15 PM
Did Bachmann release a train set with a Rio Grande 2-6-0 loco, TH&B box car, Quaker state single dome tanker, and Seaboard 4 bay hopper and caboose in the past? I looked at Bachmann online catalog and did not see one.
