General Discussion / slow trains dcc
January 05, 2010, 04:14:59 PM
My dads trains still seem to be running slow!  I have tried to shorten the track, tried a new power supply, I am wondering how fast should a locomotive go.  I am looking for someone to measure how far a locomotive will go in 20 seconds with no cars behind it.  Run at top speed on a dcc track and let me know how many feet it travels   thanks

General Discussion / slow dcc train

Hi, my dads dcc train layout is running slow even with only one train on it.  He has cleaned it - wondering if the 5 amp power booster will help  or is that only helpful when your running several trains

General Discussion / dcc ez command power

2 questions.  How do you split power coming out of the control box.  Do you splice wires or is there a distribution port you can buy?

Is there any cheaper way to boost power to my track?  The 5 amp booster is out of my budget
