Post by: trainzboy on January 25, 2016, 03:37:59 PM
I  was  running this locomotive then  the draw bar on the tender side  fell of and will not stay on any more . So what do I need to get to fix it so that it will be back to normal?

Hi trainzboy,

If you are referring to the Spectrum version, there is a pin which sticks down from the tender frame and fits onto a hole(s) (2) in the draw bar.
On the lokie side, the drawbar is held in place with a screw.
If the pin has broken off it can be repaired by using a piece of styrene rod of the correct dimeter.

If you have the non-spectrum (early pre- 2005) version, sorry I can't be of any assistance, as I don't own one and I am not familiar with the drawbar to tender connection.

Did you check with the Spook?

Good luck

Yes, pin is on the tender.
Check to see that lokie end of drawbar is screwed into lokie frame.
IIRC, the drawbar is short metal piece.

Did the screw on the lokie end fall out and was lost?

Not sure I'm following you here and wish to help.

Can you post a pic?
