Anyone here wish Bachmann would make the Dash 8 or Dash 9? They made a Dash 840-CW in N scale. I'd like to see these be made in HO scale. What are your thoughts on this? Please let me know thanx
Rapido made a dash 8 2 years ago as a first model in their now defunct budget line. It did very well, so it may be too soon for any other brand to come out with one.

Bachmann made both the C40-8 and the C40-8W as part of the Spectrum line. Athearn made the C44-9w and related AC4400CW. The models are around. Seek and you shall find.
If you do decide to buy a Bachmann spectrum 8-40C/CW, buy one that has the larger box because they are better detailed than the 8-40C/CW in the smaller box. Same thing with Bachmann spectrum SD45.
