Thank you.

Unfortunately, the parts department doesn't have those parts. Do I have a second choice?

HO / NY Central 4-8-4 axles

I have a Bachmann NY Central 4-8-4 steam loco No. 5016 that I bought, used. All four of the plastic  driver axles are split, (including the geared axle) causing the the wheels to wobble and stops the loco. Are replacement parts available for it? If so, how do I get replacement parts?

Thanks,
Wolf

Thanks, Jim.

I found a schematic. Looks easy. Now to find some at a reasonable price. I need about 20 and at about 10 bucks each that can get a little spendy.

HO / Lights and switches
March 05, 2010, 07:14:15 PM
I'm running manually with 2 tracks and many switches/sidings/yard elements. I'm using the old atlas slide/push momentary switches to throw the track switches. I'd like to have an indicator light by the selector switch or track switch to show which mode the track switch is in.

Does anyone know how to accomplish this? Relay? Interlocking relay? Second switch?

I'd really like it if one action could perform both the throwing of the switch and the constant on of the indicator lamp.

Thanks,
Wolf

HO / Atlas switch machine question
February 09, 2010, 09:45:36 PM
Not being familiar with switch machines, I bought several Atlas Switch Control Switches. In figuring out the wiring, I noticed they all have the same characteristics, that being you need to slide them one way or the other, then push in to make momentary contact. Is that because constant voltage on the switch machines will burn them out?

Does anyone know if such an item exists in code 100 track? That's right, straight, and left.  If you know, would you let me know?

Here's a link to my proprosed layout.  http://wolf.mind.net/files/layout.gif The loop near the bottom is for reversing in either direction. Of course it's a short circuit. What can I do to make it work?

Thanks,
