Title: Any ideas for trackside lighting for my garden railway?

Landscape lights are pretty expensive so wondereed what others are doing for outdoor light for their track.

Interesting. Thought about making my own posts out of copper tubing. Might be able to use the led christmas lights as the light source.

If you watch for sales there are solar powered LED lamps you can find at good prices.  Just buy a few at a time and add them at points around the layout.  We have a few on our club's Thomas loop that high light Thomas as he goes across the front of the loop during our night time Xmas show.  We also use the white rope lights to provide a small amount of light around the whole loop.  We watch for sales on them also.
