N / Re: N Scale EM-1

Hi;

Yes, am waiting for a reply from the Bach Man . Totally agree with you, locos are way too expensive NOT to have Bachmann to have spare part readily available. I don't know if the supaglue ( c.a.) will hold.
We shall await a speedy reply !!!

N / N Scale EM-1
October 22, 2014, 03:33:34 AM
For the Bach Man;
At a recent model train show, my EM-1's tender wheels melted during a short circuit. I think I have repaired the molten plastic and replaced the 2 wheels and one axle, successfully.
Will Bachmann being bringing out spare parts for this new model?

Sorry for the delay;

Sound decoder is a MRC N 1956, Universal 16-bit for steam locos...Though sound could have been more robust...works well at home, hard to hear at a train show.  For some unknown reason, either loco or tender is causing a short on my Club's DCC modular layout. ( worked just fine a few days earlier on a home layout. )  Is away from me at the moment being checked out...will let you know how examination goes.

A fellow club member wishes to dispose of his Spectrum 2-6-6-2, item # 82674.  With a dummy coupler fitted to the frontend; is it possible to replace with a working coupler, as is fitted on the tender, ( or similar).   Does Bachmann already manufacture a suitable coupler ??
