How long we have been waiting.
Envy we have for the other scales.
Imediate gratification we anticipate.
Satisfaction that Bachmann can deliver.
Long wait we have endured.
Extacy we are anticipating.
Repeat business securing Bachmans future.

??? It's just a pipe dream. Just make sure you DON'T hold your breath on this one !!

Can't agree with you more, Nelson.
If we flog the dead horse long enough it might just get up. !!!!

Definitely. Even discussing about the prototype wouldn´t be necessary-why not making the Fn3 Scale Heisler with all the variants available in G-Scale...? She looks good to me.
...or if someone asks me, a West Side Heisler, preferably with another set of trucks available for O-Scale 2-Rail....
But whatever: We deserve a Heisler, please Bach-man.... ;) ;) ;)
Cheers, Tom
Big or small, inside frame or outside frame trucks, two-truck or three-truck, it matters not!
Just give us a Heisler, PLEASE!
266 views and only 6 votes. Not very convincing. :( Oh yeah, I vote for one!
Oh, I didn't know it was a voting thing. I just thought if I had posted my interest in an On30 Heisler many times before, I wouldn't have to again. ;)
I would prefer a Westside Heisler, but I'm so desperate for one I will buy what ever Heisler Bachmann makes!
I wouldn't be supprised if there was one already in the production line. If there isn't, we will have a long wait to come...
Oh, and a sound one would be nice. ;)
Yeah, I know what you mean Max. I'd probably settle for any HEISLER as well. Although, I'd love one about the same size as the Climax. ( I think that's a 28 ton machine ).
I'd sell all of my On30 locos just to have 2 Heislers
Lindsay ( NZ )
Let's see a heisler! I would prefer a 28 tonner, but, Im more partial to the one at Roaring Camp & Big Trees, with one exception; if it were only a coal or wood burner lol. Com'on ya'll, the squeeky wheel eventually gets greased.
Rock ON!

Ever hear what a small stone sounds like in a disc break on a car ?/ :o :o :o
We need to sound like that.!!! ;D ;D ;D
Squeeks get ignored. Shrieks get noticed
Lindsay (NZ)
I don't hear the screatching yet
I think if BacHeisler then I would be so happy that I would jump up and kick my window out! and by the way how about making that ET&WNC piggy back trailer flat car. 8)

Hey y about the sloppy typing...NEED A HEISLER!!!! :o :o
Royce Wilson
Not to burst anyone's dreams but ....
According the NNGC On30 breakout meeting summary, per Lee Riley as relayed by Chris Lane and posted on the Conspiracy list, there is no Heisler, Mason or DCC Mogul in the foreseeable future. The Mogul is cash cow for custom paint schemes. No explanation was given by Chris for the Heisler and Mason.
I'm disappointed at the Heisler news ... but not shocked.

Out of the 3 main types, the heisler is my fav. Loggers considered the heisler to be superior to the other 2 because it was the fastest, smoothest and caused the least amount of damage to the track.
Please Bachmann, let the On30 community have a model of this "Geared Legend" :D
Instant gratification continues to be available from Wiseman!
The loooong wait might be worth it IF the running gear will hold up longer then two minutes the Climax and Shay lasted on my layout. I had six of those engines but just two now as I traded those loosers off to another fellow who was going to fix them. Ha ha He's not doing very well on that. He fixed one but the gear broke into pieces. For those willing to try and fix the problems, try NWSL for good gears.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Heisler myself in On30. I've drawn up a freelance, and blatantly unprotypical ;) , concept for one. I like thw WSL Heisler, but I think it's a bit "Steriotype" becuase whenever someone thinks od a Narrow Gauge Heisler, a West Side one is what people think of.
I am more in favor of a loco like this:
http://www.steamlocomotive.info/onephoto.cfm?display=181&size=1024&submit=1024
I think this prototype is practically screaming to become an On30 model. Not to mention her proportions look good for a 30" gauge model. (This loco is 3ft gauge if I'm corect) And this Heisler is one of the VERY select few with a wood cab. Now this is just my preverence. Whatever Bachmann does I'm sure we'll be happy with, or at least I hope.
Now thats a beauty; but that cow catcher pilot needs to come off. I think you may have a prototype there sir.
Rock On!
Dusten
Yes I agree with you! The cowcatcher/pilot need to come off. Other than that I think this loco is the perfect prototype. ;)
