Does any one have the new H-8 Alleghany with DCC & Sound? If so how do you like it.

Gee,
Guess no one is interested in an H-8 with sound. Mine came in today, so I guess I no longer need any advice on how they run.

I have both versions without sound.  I don't have a sound one and don't plan on getting one.  Two is more than enough for me, but both of mine will have sound.

I have one-it is one of the first issues ever by Rivarossi, and it is numbered.  That would be enough of both Allegheney and snob appeal to suit me; or as the late cartoonist Jimmy Hatlo used to say in "They'll do it every time"; Thanx and a tip of the ol' chapeaux.

Rich

PS:  I haven't run it but once; and it ran wonderfully.  Rivarossi outdid themselves.

The H-8 is the only one they have with sound, isn't it? I've got one of Rivarossi's Big Boys. It's a good model.

Rivarossi needs to remake those Heislers. I found a site that deals them...but they're in Europe :-\.

Start with Trainworld and/or Standard Hobby Supply.
