Title: GE 47-Ton Dropcab Cumbres & Toltec #19
Post by: EastbrookBridge on October 26, 2015, 11:24:41 AM
Hello everybody,

I would like to use a body of the new Williams GE 44 Tonner to build a narrow gauge (0n30) Diesel locomotive as close as possible of the well-known GE 47-Ton Dropcab Cumbres & Toltec #19 (ex- Hawaii Oahu Railway).

But I don't know the Williams model.

So, is it easy to separate the cab from the hoods ?

Did anyone already made such conversion ?

Thanks for answering !

Cab and the hoods are part of a single piece body shell.

Hello Hunt,

Thanks for you answer !

But, in fact, I realize that I was maybe not clear enough : I wanted to speak about the new WILLIAMS GE 44 Tonner, "scale 44 Ton Switcher", product numbers #23101 to #23104.

Thanks for your help !
