Thomas & Friends / Re: Thomas & Friends in 2018

I really think that listening to suggestions that won't fit the current pattern of how Bachmann releases their Thomas models is getting very tiresome, as Bachmann ONLY make the TV Series characters, now only the CGI characters, non of the Railway Series characters that aren't in the show right now are going to show up. Honestly, unless Bachmann make the tooling for Norman, Den, Dart, Samson, Portor, Timothy, Connor, Caitlin, Hiro, or Hugo then they'll only announce Sidney next for HO.

I'm excited abouth the HO scale wagons being announced, and super excited about the narrow gauge announcements. Hopefully next year we get Sir Handel and some coaches, maybe a set. I need to make an n gauge layout made soon.

I really hope it happens and they use Sir Handel or Peter Sam as the first engines for the set.

I think that Bachmann should like make a mountain railway set and the engines look like the engines from the culldee fell mountain railway or the option of regular mountain engines and it would come with 4 coaches
That would be complicated in terms of both gauging, designing, & building as the gauge would have to be smaller, the design would take a good 5 months to perfect *there are NO models of the Culdee Fell Railway prototype mind you so this would be REALLY tough*, and building the locomotives would be a good 6 months on the company's end to get it to look decent so like the Skarloey Railway it WON'T happen so don't get your hopes up :L.

And on top of them being good sellers, it would give narrow gauge modelers who like the make British outline NG stuff who try to make the Skarloey engines A LOT LESS HASSLE. Seriously, the Corris No. 4 made by Meridian Models has the same amount of etched brass as the Rodney Stenning Corris No. 3 mainly for the cab which makes Soldering a MAJOR need and there are some *like myself* who NEVER soldered before  :-\. Also the Skarloey Railway is on a 2 FOOT 3 INCH track like the Talyllyn & Corris Railways are :L.
