So, the couplers on these things seem well-designed to uncouple with just a shove from down under. It seems that a lever, or solenoid, or even debris on the track, could serve to uncouple these.
But my search of the web for an appropriate uncoupler, particularly a remote one, has gone unsatisfied. Have I missed it? Am I just lame?
What are people using? And, these things don't support that "delayed" uncoupling, do they?
Thanks!
Hi Cayenne:
If you use solid brass .332 track, L.G.B. has a remote uncoupler that I have used. It operates like a L.G.B. switch machine. Voltage one way raises the ramp and voltage the other way lowers the ramp.

L.G.B. also has a manual ramp but I've never used one.

Years ago, LIONEL made a manual large scale uncoupler that fit under the track. They work ok if it's close to the edge of the layout and could probably be hooked up with a cable or twin-coil switch machine.

Good luck.

Ah okay, I had seen that but did not know how it operated. Sounds simple enough!
Thanks
