Title: IHobby Expo 2013
Post by: seanrail on September 14, 2013, 06:09:42 PM
Bachmann is at Ihobby expo on 3-6 October. We might get info or updates on Arry, Bert, Jeremy, Troublesome Truck #4 and sound-fitted Thomas in HO and Toby in Large Scale.

Excellent!  Looking forward to hearing updates on most of these products.  Hopefully we will see Troublesome Truck #4 on display at the show. :)

Anyone know of any train shows in the Southern region coming up soon? I've always wanted to go to one! Thanks

Not exactly soon, but Worlds Greatest Hobby tour hits Houston in Jan. Is that far enough south? A search for train shows in your state should find you something near you soon. More regular, smaller shows occur more during the cooler seasons, not summer, so it shouldn't be long. I often find the smaller shows more to my liking, I like all trains, but Thomas doesn't always show up at those.

Not much on Georgia soon, Myrtle Beach S.C. Oct 17th,(not WGH) I think a General area would help too. North East, South West, Center, Etc.

This is the best I have found so far, and there isn't even a good look at what's on display as far as new products go.  I know that Bachmann mentioned on their facebook page in a comment that the Large Scale Toby will be on display... I haven't heard any news of what new additions will make it on display from the HO line.  I certainly hope photos and a video will be provided soon!

The Large Scale Toby looks incredible!  Love the detail shown on the model, and I am interested to see how the model will do as far as running goes.  A shame that his cab isn't open, but I have a feeling that this will be a VERY popular seller!  All he needs is Henrietta to go along with him!

I'm surprised not a single one of the new HO products made it onto the display, apart from the Christmas set.  Hopefully we'll see photos of the other new products sooner rather than later.

yeah, because Arry and Bert are a re-tool from Devious Diesel and shouldn't take this long to decide the tooling for troublesome truck #4 to be chosen and its prototype created.

Dear Yardmaster

do you know what part of the stage Arry, Bert, Jeremy and Troublesome Truck #4 are in: tool-room stage, unpainted stage or prototype stage?

Please Reply.

Sean.
