Title: dry transfer lettering?
Post by: robertalan51 on January 11, 2011, 10:39:01 PM
Hello there,
Does anyone know the best place to find dry transfer lettering to use to letter train cars and buildings? I have used woodland scenics many times but they don't have lower case letters just seem to have upper case. I'm looking for both in different style letters too.
Thank again, rob

In the 1980s these guys had a lot of that http://www.chartpak.com/index.html & http://www.letraset.com/
Just looked for their websites, didn't look at content.

Googling for dry transfer lettering got this http://www.pulsarprofx.com/decalpro/
QuoteMake your own dry transfer, rub-down decals in WHITE, METALLIC or FULL COLOR in minutes using your laser printer or photo-copier.

QuoteWhether or not you're old enough to have worked with Letraset or other dry transferrable lettering before computer typesetting became the norm, this technique for making your own rub-on letters is worth trying.

Try Clover House--Russ has lots of dry tranmsfer sets in many scales.   gj
