Thomas & Friends / Re: Bill and Ben Release Date

I'd say that mid to late September for bill and ben. No later than October for the release. Seems reasonable to me.

P.S. This off topic but please forgive me........

             LEBRON JAMES SUCKS!!!!!
lol. Are you a Cleveland fan? I don't care about basketball but that's just stupid that they gave him an hour long show just to announce where he's going. Ridiculous.
Thank You!!! I'm with you about that. Heck, the second semester of my high school, that's all everyone would talk about. when they ask me, I'd say that I watch hockey or NASCAR.

why would Bill and Ben get released at separate times? They both use the same tooling, and same paint all except for the names.

I don't think you can. My only advise is to try google, but HiT and Cambell and O'donnell would have it copyrighted. Not half bad idea for a product line though. my 2 cents.  ::)

I don't know how to get the YouTube player up here. But here's the link. Just remember that these are the ERTL MODELS!!! Nowhere close to the models bachman will produce.

An easy way I found to separate them is to use a small flathead screwdriver. Insert it over the buffer, and under the hooks, keep slack in, lift up on the hooks, and pull the part of the train you want away. Works good for me.

As for the conversion, you'll have to install a draft gear. not too hard, but time consuming, or so I've heard.

The break off so darn easy though. At least for me anyway. You could use plastic welder on them. I have with excellent results.

All, second that one. To get buffers, you have to buy the whole footplate.  :P

I'd hate to tell ya, but this is the extent of my layout.  >:( The only thing not in these pictures is a turntable, and my small docks. That's it. The local planning board, (aka Mom and Dad) are not letting me expand.

On June 16, 2010, James is now finished and ready for service. I am still to pull him from the on-line shop storage area, but that will be done tonight. (in theory) ;D Also, no major damage was caused my the class feline twister that touched down.  :)

I am now proud to announce that James is being withdrawn from service for short term. The replacements arrived yesterday, Thanks to James the red engine. Some pictures to commemorate this event.

Before James could leave with his last train, some, "Restoration work" had to be carried out on the  station throat before his train could depart.

Along with some minor rerailing from a white, feline tornado that touched down.

Ready to go.

from the end of the yard.

Yess!! I am finally getting repaired.

And of course, the special.

As a last minute change, it was decided that James would double-head the train with Henry. Due to camera problems, this cannot be captured. (Dead batteries.  >:(

Yeah, but Henry has an open cab, and I am sure that Gordon does too. And maybe Emily and Spencer.

You can make it believable. They should of hired you as a model maker before the CGI crossover.
