So far there have been 6 strasburg cars made pluse 2 box cars. They pop up on ebay occasionally. Bachmanns ot coaches are about 10 scale feet shorter but should look ok.

The drawing shows it with a high headlight, and vanderbuilt tended but I let it keep the original for now.

so I did some modifications to a Bachmann Kanawaha(since the undec i used was the C&O Version)

Right near the end of steam the B&O Had a 2-8-4 engine drawn up, and even gave it a class, but it was never built. they were to be built using old Mikado boilers, you'll see below my first attempt to "B&Oize" and now my latest and more succesful attempt at it. During this last time of working on her, i spilled my plasticweld and some got on it(very minor damage to the shell) but the trucks will need to be eventually replaced, the damage to the shell really isn't bad at all, looks like i got gloss coat on it by accident.

1st Attempt

This attempt,  looks more like a B&O Engine wouldn't you say? I remounted the bell from the back of the boiler to up near the chimney like on the P7 Pacifics.

Here's how I did it, I kept the original tender, changed the axles, stole the pickups from another tender, drilled a small hole right near the bolster of each truck for the wire, soldered the wire to the pickup, fed the wire to the motor and soldered them there. also added a reverse light.

Is there any chance you can bring back the 4-6-0 with the high boiler and larger drivers? I always thought that was a great looking locomotive. Offering it with DCC and sound would be a plus as well.

I've often wondered how if would look with a shortened oil Vanderbilt tender. Hope to see the return of both soon.

Thanks,
Travis

this was an 4-6-0 i bought as-is and i repaired it as well as it needed a new tender, so here ya go haha. I had to cut the coal bunker down some

Here's some more pics for you Jon

Your deck is a little too high, there should be sides to help hold everything in place.

Who made that station and block tower? That would go great for my "Strasburg Terminal"
