These locos do not have DCC or sound. The control comes from the phone and the sound plays from the phone not the locomotive. You can however modify things to how you desire depending on your abilities.
AND it is DCC (Digital command control), NOT DDC

From experience unless you get up very early you are not going to find trains at those front lawn junk sales many call yard sales. Reason very simple mention the word train and the early birds come in and scoo them up. At least that's what happened at my yard sale. Even the train set stuff was gone.
