Title: smoke unit 773

I have a Williams 773 and the smoke unit is not working - were can I get one so I can replace it? is it hard to do?

Before replacing the smoke unit. Go to your local hobby shop or any place that would sell .008 brass wire. Turn your engine upside down and gently shake it to get any fluid out. Take the wire and twist it gently into the tibe in the center of the smoke unit. Yes it is a tube not a pin. That will remove any clog you might have. Put back in the right smoke fluid. Lionel is to thick, I use Seuth, its a little expensive but thats the brand smoke unit Williams by Bachmann uses.

I don't have Williams steam (yet) but the S type of smoke has little smell, and you can buy it by the 0.5 and 1 litre bottles!

Also, get one of those "oiler" bottles with a needle.  You can get the smoke where it is needed, and can break up any bubbles.
