I have had a number of EZ-Track turnout solenoids bite the dust over the years. Are there any after market switch-stands that will adapt to the EZ-Track turnouts? They're within reach of the control area.
One, or more, of the Caboose Industries ground throws should work. You may have to drill a hole in the manual throw lever on the EZ-Track to connect it. And you'll need to elevate the ground throw on some cork, wood scrap, or whatever, to match the height of the EZ-Track roadbed.

You can make the shaft short if you like, use or not use the lantern, and use a target prototypical to your railroad. I believe the supplied ones are a D&RGW prototype.
These stands are a little oversized for HO scale but they are oh so railroady. And there's nothing beats the feeling of actually being the switchman. And the off-center target shaft has early prototypes. I have a dozen or so on my railroad right now, and still need to put a dozen more or so in.
