Have you opened the front of the smoke box on the front of the loco and turned the smoke switch to on?

Theres a little latch at about 10 o'clock position that holds the front door closed.

If the switch is already on and the locos been run for an extended period of time with no oil it's likely the smoke unit has burned out.

if you look down the smoke stack there is a little metal pipe with hair thin wires wrapped around it, this sometimes rides up, use a pencil with eraser to VERY VERY gently push down on the metal tube. then try it again.

If it doesn't work don't be to upset, the smoke produced is bad for you, causes a mess, does not last long without a refill and doesn't look very realistic anyway (In my opinion anyway)
