I have a Spectrum 2-8-0 that I got last year. I installed a lenz decoder in it and can't seem to get the head lamp to work. Any suggestions? Can I get the head lamp circuit board somewhere for replacement?

Hello all,

I have recently shifted my modelling to N scale. As such, I recently purchased a N scale Spectrum 2-8-0 Consolidation that is 'DCC Ready.'

I have looked on the internet in an effort to find an appropriate decoder and have come up relatively short.

Can anyone recommend a suitable decoder/with/without sound (if that is a realistic consideration) for this locomotive.

Also, I have been looking at an NCE PowerCab DCC System to power my layout. Anyone have any thoughts about that system and it's compatability.

Any advise would be welcome.
