HO / E-33/E-44 ?
September 20, 2023, 11:44:51 PM
Any chance of a return of the E-33 ? The E-33 drive is correct in trucks and truck spacing for the PRR/PC/CR/AMTRAK/Muskegum Electric E-44's. You already have the drive/frame done. ---- Ken

HO / Another tender for your NYC Hudson
September 20, 2023, 11:42:08 PM
Years back when Bachman offered the NYC Niagara it had the NYC Centipede tender . If the tooling still exists with some power pickup/detail changes it would be correct for your new NYC Hudson. You might want to look into it . Just a suggestion !!  ---   Ken

HO / Idea for your End of Train Device
February 18, 2021, 02:42:01 PM
I've been using your End of Train Device # 42907  to add working markers to my PRR/PC cabin car fleet. I already have wheel pickup for signalling so I remove the circuit board from the truck and install it inside my cabins. I use a nano led for the marker. If you make a Caboose truck to accept the circuit board and make the wires a bit longer to the flashing rear end device you could use it to add working markers to your existing caboose line and if offered as a separate item this would allow modelers to add the markers to their caboose fleet. If you would like to see a sample let me know . ------------- Ken

The supply of sound equipped G's seems to be drying up. Any chance of a second run ? All the dealers I have contacted are out of stock. ---  Ken

HO / E-33
September 06, 2017, 12:31:06 AM
Any chance of a new run of E-33's or an E-44 with sound ?  Been many years since the last run and the supply has pretty much dried up. Electrics do sell even with no catenary overhead ! We need some freight motors to go along with the GG-1's !! ---   Ken

HO / Will we ever see a Bachmann PRR E-44 ?
October 01, 2014, 05:03:48 PM
Over the years Bachmann has produced a number of electric locomotives. Two versions of E-60's , Metroliners years ago. E-33's HHP-8's and now GG-1's. I have a number of the GG-1's and E-33's and have been checking out the similarities betwen the E-33 and E-44. Same frame length wheelbase and trucks. Similar underbody arrangement and even the basic carbody is very similar. E-33's offered Virginian , N&W , NH, PC and CR paint schemes. E-44's offer PRR,PC,PC-PRR paintouts,CR blue and CR paintouts ,Amtrak and Muskingum  Electric. There were 12 E-33's and 65 E-44's and 2 -E-50's  . I know this has been asked before but I believe that Bachmann is missing an opportunity by not offering this locomotive . PRR still sells the PC is growing in popularity as is Conrail and model railroaders run electrics without catenary !! I have heard that the E-33's did not sell well and that is the reason that the E-44 has not been produced. With todays limited runs lower numbers could be produced to better match customer demand.  -------------------------------Thanks for listening ,  Ken

HO / new 35' trailer question.
January 21, 2013, 03:13:56 PM
I recently picked up two of the new piggyback flats with the 35' trailers. Any chance Bachman could offer the trailers seperately ? I could use a number of them for trailer loads on some of my 75' cars. Thanks for making them . ----------------------- Ken

Will the earlier run RS-3 shells built with no sound fit on one of the new sound equipped drives ?
