Did Bachmann ever make a chrome Santa Fe B unit
Like the one at this link? Or actually chrome plated?

I don't know the answer to your question but someone on this Board will. However, I have a clarifying question for you: By "chrome," do you mean painted silver or a brightly shiny metal effect? Someone, I think maybe Life Like, had a plastic Santa Fe A unit with ersatz chrome plating like what you see in model automobile kits.

Thanks for repleying to my question but iI mean chrome plated not silver paint I have two chrome A units but have never seen a chome B unit I would like one
I have one that is chrome plated and I received it from my great grandfather after he sold majority of his train set and layout in the late 80's early 90's. It has Bachmann China on the bottom. It is a Santa Fe 307. I don't know how old it is and I am quite curious, but I do believe that Bachmann did make one years ago. I did acquire a same engine only with a red and dullish grey shell.

307 is an A unit, not a B unit.
