Title: clear out codes for bachmann engines

i am looking for clear out codes for bachmanns engines, to reset to factory setting #3
because i have a engine that has locked out and will not take any conmamms

i had ez conmamm, but now i have mrc prodigy advance 2
i was told that there is a clear out code so that i can reprogram the engine to what ever address i want

There is a way to reset it to factory settings?
You can also find out the current address and reprogram it on the programming track...

For most Bachmann decoders....set CV8 to 8

For most Bachmann sound decoders set CV 30 to 2

That should put them back to factory default on all CV's.

Read page 3 of your EZC manual.  You can return any loco with an unknown address back to the default of 3.  It shouldn't matter what any CV settings are, as they have nothing to do with addressing other than allowing addresses higher than 10.  Even if you have it set at a 4 digit address, the EZC will default it to 3.
