HO / ho dcc/sound climax won't move on dc track
March 03, 2019, 09:31:37 PM
the engine runs perfect in dcc mode, but will only make idling sounds on a dc track, using a tect II transformer, which works fine for any dc engine. won't do anything at any throttle setting. any ideas?

i bought a bachmann sound decoder on ebay new in package, in the process of installation in my tender,i broke the speaker wires loose from the circuit board. i soldered them back where i thought they went, but when tested, the  engine moved but no sound. is it color coded, or is there a wiring diagram to go by? the decoder has AE 32019 on it. thanks for any advice.
