To my knowledge Bachmann locos did not come with Digitrax decoders.  They came with EZ Command decoders or SoundTraxx decoders.
You can open the tender and read a part number on it.
I am thinking you mean Soundtraxx and the decoder is specific for Bachmann.
I have one Bachmann with an onboard SoundTraxx decoder and it is specific for Bachmann.

Edit.
I did see part numbers in the parts diagram page.

Just check the CV list. Easy enough to do. Check the Bachmann site or the SoundTraxx site.
