Williams by Bachmann / Re: New numbers????

I doubt it.  It order to apply a NEW number, a NEW mask will have to be made. This process is VERY expensive and I doubt Bachmann would go to this expense for just a number change.

Williams by Bachmann / Re: Help Locating CSX NW-2.

If it helps any, the CSX has been out of production for 2-3 years at least. Unless Bachmann "reruns" them, your only chance of finding them may be on ebay.

The N/S arrived 2-3 weeks ago. Contact your dealer to order!

Bachmann's "availabilty" list shows a MAR 2011 delivery date. The MONTH is not carved in stone, production scheduling could bump it a month to APR....or longer.

I emailed the seller regarding if he was selling an AA set or just the one unit.

He's selling the SINGLE "A" powered unit ONLY!

They are painted silver, with an orange stripe above the windows.
The cars have SILVER ends.

1) Catalog year of the above?
2) Would the unit have the 6 amp reverse board?
3) Would the unit have TruBlast II sound?

I started selling WILLIAMS in 1994, and the boxes were NOT that color as shown on ebay. I'd hazard a guess they were made in mid to late 1980's.

I  have no cut off date regarding the 6 Amp board, but I'll would say if it DOES have one, it's out dated. The reverse board now used has been improved immensely starting AFTER this unit you are looking at, was made.

It definitely does NOT have TBII; horn only.

Do you have the BOX it came in? What color is it?  All silver with blue lettering or red with yellow lettering?

Ditto....it will not work.

All the cars you purchased from me were wrapped in the "red" boxes, putting the production date to about 2000. Prior to that, Williams boxes were silver.

Bachmann has purchased 1-2 Co. in the last year or two. I have NO particulars on who/what was purchased. BUT......I expect some "new" items to come down the pike in the next 2-3 years.

The two car set has not been produced for 2-3 years, why it hasn't is a mystery to me. If you want me to put you on my "back order" list, please contact me:
marty@mqapajunction.com

For that matter, any body else looking for this set, please email me! :)

"Include a seat on which the figures can sit and sell as a pair!
I would buy a bunch of them!"

You really don't need the seat. Take off the shell, and glue the engineer to the SIDE of the Loco at window level. You may have to amputate the figures legs
(horrors!) to fit.

I sell the Lionel figures if interested.
