HO / Walk Around controller
December 06, 2014, 11:54:53 PM
Will Bachmann continue to make the DCC Walk Around controller?  It seems they are sold out and no one knows when they will be available again if ever. Will they be available soon or not ever? Thanks, Bob

The walk around controller just plugs into the master controller.  You can also add plugs around your layout if you need to.  The walk around controller can be unplugged and the train it controls will keep running at the last speed. Then you can plug it into the next plug and have control of the train.
People seem to not like the Bachmann system but how many have even tried it?  It works fine for me now.

HO / E-Z Command and NCE DCC connector
July 18, 2014, 05:21:29 PM
I have a Bachmann E-Z Command Walk-around Compansion Connector Panel w/wires, item #44908.  Can this connector panel be used with the NCE DCC system? Is there a difference in Bachmann and NCE connectors?
And can the Bachmann Automatic reversing unit be used with NCE?

I like the Union Pacific Big Boys too but all I have is a B&O 0-4-0T.   Maybe if I try real hard I can just picture the 0-4-0T has more wheels!@    ;D

HO / 2-10-0 into 4-8-0
July 03, 2014, 05:53:14 PM
Has anyone tried turning Bachmann's 2-10-0 into a 4-8-0 by removing the front driver and replacing the lead single axle with a two axle lead truck?
It looks like it would be possible.

I don't have a problem with the fluorescent lights.  At least not yet. Anyone want to make me an offer on the EZ Command?

HO / EZ Command

I have the Bachmann EZ Command Dynamis Wireless Infrared system.  My problem is my layout is an around the wall type and with this Bachmann DCC system you have to have the handset aimed close to  the command station which is hard to do with an around the wall layout if the command station is in the middle of the room.  Anyone else have this problem?  Any ideas how to get around this problem?  Would mirrors work????
Thanks

HO / sell Bachmann sound modules
March 15, 2014, 04:03:04 AM
Why doesn't Bachmann sell their steam and diesel sound modules as separate items? Or even sell the tenders for the 4-4-0 and others sound equipped  so we can just change out the tenders for sound?  I would love to upgrade some of my Bachmann steam.  The one's I have sound great!

HO / sound decoders sold seperate
June 22, 2013, 03:01:25 PM
How about selling your sound decoders with speakers so we can add sound to older units that don't have them? I have several  Bachmann 2-8-0's and 4-4-0's that I would love to add sound to.
How about it Bach-man?  Please?

HO / sound value decoder
November 29, 2012, 12:13:48 AM
Why not sell the "sound value" decoder as a seperate item? It would sell like hotcakes!  Include a speaker and have it so it just  basicly needs to be plugged in.

Any luck from Bachmann?  Lifetime warranty? Maybe they  would send you another one
if  they would still have them in stock.

HO / 2-4-4-2 sound module 44952
August 26, 2012, 07:16:55 PM
What is the size of the sound module #44952 for the On30 2-4-4-2?  Would it fit in an Ho scale tender?  And is the speaker
included?
Thanks,
Bob D.

Loves your old layout too.
How about posting the plan for the new layout?
And if you want to make a simple change to your
Bachmann 2-8-0's:  cut off the "antler" marker lights
and replace them with regular ones. Improves the
look. At least to me it does.

If you buy the 2-6-0, get it without sound and install a Soundtraxx  sound module.  The sound that somes with the 2-6-0 is very limited: bell, two whistles, light on-off and of course chuff. No brake squire or coupler crash.  Still a great loco for the price. I love mine!
