Post by: Millhouseqs on May 14, 2011, 02:14:14 AM
Hi

Does anyone have any advice on how to anchor down E-Z track (N scale) onto a baseboard.

Many thanks for any advice

I use ATLAS N track nails sparingly.  A nail counter sink and small hammer help, as well as needle nosed pliers.   On any N track, leave a small gap between the nail head and the top of the tie.  Otherwise, you will push down the tie making a dip or low spot.  Try to keep the top of your track level so your train will run smoothly. Avoid LifeLike or bargain brand track nails, since they are often dull and defective.  If N track nails are not available, try Atlas HO nails.
