Title: Power terminal for Liberty bell limited
Post by: Donman9999 on November 15, 2013, 05:47:12 PM
Help please,

I bought a used Bachman Liberty Bell Express but it has no way to attach the transformer to the track. Can anyone help with how this is done and also maybe what I should do before running it ( lubricate engine, etc?????) and how. Thanks in advance!
Don

You can either purchase a power terminal track or solder your wires to the rail. I would prefer the first option if it is steel track.
Is this HO as I see you posted this question in large also.

It's actually a G scale train. Thanks for the info. I guess I can get a power terminal track from Bachman.

Don-

Soldering wires to steel track isn't easy but it's a lot cheaper than buying a terminal track
section. You can also jam feeders into the bottoms of the rails, holding them in with a
toothpick if needed.

Rail joiners with soldered wire to it, can be bought, or made too.
You're not short on options eh? :D
