Title: wire for frog on e-z track #5 Turnouts

hi
i have thouse bachmann e-z #5 Turnout on my layout and they all work good. but when i look under there a wire that suppost to connect to the frog. i don't have manual for it anymore but just wondering what dose it do?

You use that wire when you want to electrify the frog so it has
the same polarity as the stock rail to which it leads.

Which in turn will let shorter wheel base loco's run without stalling or hesitating on the frog.
Personally I use the #5's and have not powered any of them to date. All my loco's run just fine through them.
