Title: MD&PA 4-6-0
Post by: Cassshay10 on January 03, 2009, 03:54:22 PM
I recently bought A 4-6-0. It runs great, but the cables/wires between the lokey and tender drag over the ties on turnouts. Any Ideas?

NEVERMIND The Bach-man saved my 4-6-0 From the shelves!!! ;D :D

Dear Cass,
Remove the tender shell and pull the  harness in, reducing slack and drag.
Have fun!

Just in case you have the small tender with your 4-6-0, here is a photo showing the screw to remove the tender shell. If you have the larger tender, it will be evident.
Make sure you put the wheel back in the same way as the other wheel if you go this route or you will have a short.
