Title: What size resistor to use?
Post by: Craw on October 05, 2019, 01:00:51 PM
I have 2 Bachmann two truck shays and 2 Bachmann Climax. I have 4 Tsunami 2 TSU-1100 Digital Sound Decoders P.N 884006 Steam-2, plus speakers to install into these 4 Locomotives. I will be removing the PCB boards to allow for space.

So it will be a hard wire.

What size resistor must I use to run between the LED light and the Decoder?

Thank-you
Craw

(a repeat answer to your repeat question)

use 1k ohm, 1/4 watt resistor with each LED.

an aside --- use speaker compatible with decoder audio amplifier.
