After looking up these two videos simultaneously, I don't think it was much of a mistake (at least it was after looking at the Season 2 behind the scenes model of Duck was what struck me a bit).

Also, keep in mind that before the other models were released (Mavis, with her odd coloring scheme, and Spencer, being buffer-less, are prime examples), they had a bit of errors, but were corrected for the final time, although same could be said for Thomas, Percy, and James....

I think they purposely had Duck be made very later until all of the detailing was implemented (such as the coupling hooks seen on Donald, Douglas, and Diesel), which was a definite smart idea and a worthwhile one too!

Ahh yes, I can just imagine it now, people will be making the majority of Season 2 remakes, starting with the famous 'Duck and Diesel' trilogy

Eeeeeeesh, this version is much more detailed than the HO one! Greener and has the lettering corresponding to the railway it's on as well! I wonder what certain reviewers will give this model out of?

If anyone hasn't seen the actual last episode of Season 16 yet, here ya go!

Think of it this way; I remember Donald and Douglas were scheduled to be released alongside Bill and Ben back in 2010, but were released in 2011, which was a worthwhile wait, because look at the finished product! Actual coupling hooks, crisp detailing, and looked like something from Season 3 (cause of nameplates, but ahh well)... So in a way, I'm sure Duck will be on his way in amazing detail like they usually do (with a long amount of patience too)

I don't mind the CGI animation (given the current state of the world...), but the faces (especially on a certain character I like) needs some teensy tiny bit of adjusting to do...

Given the rising chances of old characters returning (ones that stuck around during our childhoods), perhaps Oliver would be the next contender (seeing that the first GWR engine is close to being on a shelf in a store and that DD, BB, and Diesel were made for the range)... Just me though.

Seeing that Diesel was one of the first characters to have a CGI face. Maybe they may/may not have these CGI faces (at least for the characters that appeared in the CGI series as of now and as of last year's line up, Diesel).

Idk, I thought the CGI implements were supposed to be on the Large Scale models only, but hey, I guess I was wrong on that! -_-'

I'm sure that Oliver and Toad will be made (possibly) since because he's in demand, like Duck was

Then there's Arry and Bert, which will be so easy to make for them since they can reuse Diesel's existing body molds and do some slight modifications to them, resulting in a cheaper way to make them.
