i have 1 tyco 4-8-0 1 MDC climax and 1 bachmann 4-4-0 all from the 70s and 80s and they all have their wheels slip when they are on 0% grade track just wondering if it could be a pickup problem because i see sparks on the pickup wheels.

about 5yrs ago i was in the town of Jerome, AZ and i was in their heritage museum and they have an ho scale layout depicting Jerome and after i looked at the trackplan for the J&S i believe it was the same layout. if not it was still an amazing model railroad with big mountains. Has anyone else seen this?

i would like to see some older style ho engines that date from 1870 to 1920 or odd ball engines in ho scale that you would see on a short line railroad like high boiler climax and 2 truck shay's or even an ho scale 0-4-2 like the on30 one.

i am sad to see that Roundhouse went out of business after i fell in love with their products and was wondering if Bachmann would ever consider buying the molds to their products before they are lost. heck i bet bachmann could make the 2 truck shay 5 times better. i would also love it if they included the road names that roundhouse had. also could bachmann at least make a product line of ho trains based on short line railroads like mining and logging railroads and include oddball engines like the climax roundhouse had and boxcabs and the shays. i am sad to say that i didn't get into model railroading untill all the smaller companies are gone.
